Paging Ryan Mallett

The mistake of the year may be by the Patriots and trading away Ryan Mallett, obviously they need some help at the QB position.

Kevin keeps continuing his dominance atop the leaderboard and against his opponents scaring them away from scoring any points. Even while putting up the most points in the league for the first 4 weeks and going 8-0, he's had it pretty easy with his opponents on scoring 99.88 pts/game. Joe Bukowski and Pete are right behind him at chomping at the bit to take the top of the standings at 7-1.

Last weeks rematch of the Super Bowl was decided in similar fashion as last year with Alec taking out Travis 132.8-108.9.

The North Conference has become a bit active with owners trying to position themselves better for the year and 2 trades went down in the past week with one including a first round pick in Lesean McCoy. Maybe it'll loosen some things up and we'll see some more trades in coming in the future.

Sean looks to get the monkey off his back as the only one left without a win while Lucas and Alex look to keep it that way as his opponents.

Matchup of the Week

The matchup of the week showcases a fight in the middle of the pack which could set the rest of the season for either of these teams. Both ranked right next to each other in the League (13th & 14th) and their own Conference (7th & 8th), Mertz and Brandon square off in what looks to be a tight matchup. Both are within 5 pts of each other on their weekly average and both sport a 4-4 record. A solid week from either player can spark them to the top 3rd of the standings and help position them better for a playoff run. Will Brandon go for it and start Brady?

Weekly Challenge Results - My Team Is Special

Thanks to Tom Brady and his eternal sadness, Phia was able to take down the weekly challenge by smartly predicting the downfall of Brady and starting the Chiefs defense for 18 pts. He also was able to get another 17 pts out of the iron leg of Phil Dawson's Creek. There were a handful of defenses that put up some stinkers putting some of the competition into the negatives.

This weeks challenge is Ground & Pound Week – Starting running back duo with the most points in the week. A reminder that the duo must be started in the RB slot and not in the FLEX.
